Butler Vs. Florida
In a game that early in the second half looked like a sleepy Florida victory of the 8-12 point variety, erupted to become a classic game from this years NCAA tournament thus far. With both teams struggling to find their long range shots early in this half it wasn't until Florida really looked to pound it inside that they began to get some separation. However, the never say die Butler Bulldogs got some offence from unlikely sources. Can't say I really liked Florida's last play for the potential win/overtime, but whatever they had nothing to lose at that point. In OT, fouls have been a major factor and Mack has really shown to be a player. And somehow Matt Howard continues to be at the right place at the right time (hitting the tying free throw, getting the crucial rebound possession on a late jump ball) And there it is 8 seed Butler wins in a comeback upset! 74-71! Giving Shelvin Mack my player of the game. Beauty.
